Matt Lawrence – Owner

Matt grew up in and around the family business.  After spending a few years away to earn a degree in Business and to gain life experience in the corporate world, Matt is excited to take ownership of leading Lawrence Interiors as it moves into a new chapter.  He takes pride in building upon the strong foundation created by his parents and looks forward to servicing the Hastings community and surrounding areas for years to come.  When he isn’t working, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.

Debra Lawrence – Owner & Design Consultant

Deb leads the design team with more than 32 years of experience in interior design and construction including both commercial to residential applications. She holds a degree in Business and continuing education certifications in both flooring and window treatments. Deb appreciates the detail and coordination involved in commercial projects but also enjoys residential work for the opportunity it provides to work closely with clients. The most rewarding aspect of her career is creatively meeting design challenges to help make clients’ dreams come true. Outside of her design work, Deb enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Gretchen Bauer - Design Consultant

Gretchen has a passion for Interior Design and getting all of the details of a client's project right to achieve their vision is always her focus from the start of the project to the finishing touches.  At the end of every project Gretchen wants her clients to feel at home in their new space, because it has been designed to achieve the look they were envisioning and the functionality of the way it works in their home. Gretchen loves her three golden retrievers and enjoys spending her free time with her husband watching their two boys shoot trap.

Jenna Siewert- Design Consultant

Jenna joined the Lawrence Interiors team in March of 2021 as a design consultant.  She is someone who enjoys staying on trend with designs, with an awareness of the future.  Jenna’s goal is to make sure each of her clients are excited throughout the remodeling process, while ensuring all their wants and needs are met.  She believes there is nothing more rewarding than seeing her clients’ vision come to life.  In her free time, she enjoys boating, spending time with family and friends and traveling.

Jamie Herman - Office Administrator

Jamie graduated from The University of Wisconsin Stout with a degree in Business Management.  She thrives on any task that involves organizing and developing systems to make the business run smoothly.  Purchasing, scheduling,  tracking, and confirming all materials for our customer’s jobs so that they all stay on track with scheduling is her main daily task.  Jamie also grew up in the family business and she feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to be working alongside her brother Matt as they continue building on what their parents started.   Jamie enjoys spending  most of her free time traveling with her husband and two boys showing livestock.

Kris Morrison - Accountant and Technical Services

You may not see her face at all during your design and installation project, but she is one of the people behind the scenes making sure your job runs smoothly. The un-fun  paperwork side of the process falls to her and she uses her skills to make sure our suppliers and installers stay happy. Kris does an amazing job when it comes to making sure Minnesota taxes are paid. She likes to help the team improve their process with each experience and balance accounts to the penny - that's her numbers-geek buzz for the day.  Kris has a tech background too, so you may occasionally catch her working on a computer or answering software questions. She enjoys seeing all the pictures of our clients’ completed projects.

Tom Lawrence – Warehouse Manager

Tom and his wife Deb have built Lawrence Interiors to be what it is today.  Tom brings 45 years of experience, with a degree in Business and a family history in the construction industry.  Tom is semi-retired, but you can still find him driving the Lawrence Interiors van as he picks up and delivers many of our products each morning. When he’s not at Lawrence Interiors you can likely find him on the golf course or spending time with his family.

Billy Bauer - Operations

Billy is the newest member of the Lawrence Interiors team, he brings great craftsmanship skills and takes great pride in all of his work.  When Billy is not working you can find him outside hunting, fishing, and riding his dirt bike.
